The Synology RS1626xs+ is a 1U, 4-bay enterprise NAS powered by an Intel Xeon D-1726 6-core processor and 16GB DDR4 ECC memory. It arrives fully assembled with four 4TB Synology Enterprise drives for 16TB raw capacity. Designed for businesses running virtualization, file sharing, backup or surveillance workloads that need high throughput and data integrity.
Check 25GbE switch and expansion-unit compatibility
Verify your network infrastructure includes SFP28-capable 25GbE switching to use the included dual-port adapter. The single PCIe Gen4 x8 slot is occupied by this card, so no further expansion cards can be added. Confirm rack depth clearance for the 668.5 mm chassis and 100-240 VAC power availability. Two C13-to-C14 cords are supplied for redundant PDU connection.
Dual 25GbE ports and enterprise drives included
The pre-installed Synology 2-port 25GbE SFP28 adapter adds high-speed connectivity beyond the built-in dual 10GbE RJ-45 and management ports. Four 4TB enterprise-class drives are installed and tested, eliminating drive selection and burn-in time. DSM provides snapshot replication, Active Backup Suite and virtualization support on this validated hardware stack.
