The Synology RS3626xs is a 2U rackmount NAS populated with twelve 8 TB enterprise drives for 96 TB of raw capacity. A 6-core Intel Xeon D-1726 processor and 32 GB of DDR4 ECC memory handle virtualization, surveillance and multi-site collaboration workloads. Redundant power supplies protect service availability against a single supply failure.

Factory cache and expansion slots

Two 800 GB Synology enterprise SSDs provide 1.6 TB of read-write cache to accelerate frequent data access. Two PCIe 4.0 x8 slots remain open for compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, Fibre Channel cards or additional SSD caching hardware. The system ships fully assembled and tested so it is ready for rack deployment.

10GbE limits and thermal range

Dual onboard 10GbE RJ-45 ports support Link Aggregation for bandwidth scaling and failover, but throughput is bounded by the 10 Gb/s electrical interface.
