Sustained throughput under heavy workloads

Synology reports sequential reads beyond 6 300 MB/s and writes beyond 3 700 MB/s in its own test conditions. Dual integrated 10 GbE ports and the included 25 GbE SFP28 adapter maintain bandwidth during backups, replication and multi-user access without thermal throttling.

Slide-in drive trays and PCIe expansion

Tool-less 3.5-inch trays let you swap any of the twelve drives while the system runs. Two PCIe Gen 4 x8 slots accept additional network or caching cards, though the 2U depth limits card length.
