The Synology RS422+ is a 4-bay rackmount network-attached storage device that arrives fully assembled with four 4 TB enterprise drives for 16 TB of raw capacity. It runs DiskStation Manager on an AMD Ryzen processor with 2 GB of installed memory. The 1U chassis fits a standard 2-post or wall-mount rack without rails.

16 TB with a 10 GbE uplink for concurrent access

Four drive bays populated with Synology Enterprise Series drives provide 16 TB of storage for files, backups and virtual machines. Dual 1 GbE ports support link aggregation and failover, while the included E10G22-T1-Mini adapter adds a single 10 GbE RJ-45 connection for higher-throughput workloads. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 port allows direct-attached expansion or backup targets.
