The Synology RS826+ arrives fully assembled with four 8TB Synology Plus drives, 4GB DDR4 ECC memory and a 2-port 10GbE adapter installed. A 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B four-core processor handles file services, virtualization and backup workloads for remote offices or edge sites. The 1U chassis fits standard racks and operates between 0°C and 35°C.

1GbE backbone with 10GbE upgrade path

Four onboard 1GbE RJ-45 ports support Link Aggregation for load balancing and failover. The included 10GbE adapter uses a PCIe Gen3 slot, leaving no free expansion slot for a second high-speed card. Sequential throughput reaches 2,000 MB/s read and 1,300 MB/s write under vendor test conditions, so the 1GbE ports will saturate well before the CPU or drives.

Replaces slower 1GbE-only appliances
