The Synology RS826+ is a compact 1U rackmount NAS built for edge locations, remote offices and growing business storage environments. A 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B four-core eight-thread processor drives the system with 4 GB of DDR4 ECC memory installed. Four drive bays hold the included 80 TB of Synology Plus NAS drives plus 3.2 TB of enterprise cache.

Four 1 GbE ports with Link Aggregation and a PCIe

Network connectivity relies on four integrated 1 GbE RJ-45 ports that support Link Aggregation for load balancing and automatic failover. Sequential read performance reaches 2000 MB/s and sequential write reaches 1300 MB/s under Synology test conditions. A single PCIe Gen3 expansion slot accepts compatible 10 GbE or 25 GbE adapters when higher throughput is required.

Ships fully assembled

The unit arrives fully assembled and tested with all drives, cache modules and memory installed. Drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for future expansion. Memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using compatible DDR4 modules. Operating temperature range is 0 °C to 35 °C with 5 to 95 percent relative humidity.
