The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount NAS pre-populated with four 4TB Synology Plus drives and 1.6TB of enterprise cache. It ships fully assembled and tested, targeting branch offices and edge sites that need immediate file and backup capacity.
1GbE networking and expansion limits
Four integrated 10/100/1000M ports support link aggregation and automatic failover. A single PCIe Gen3 slot accepts one 10GbE, 25GbE or M.2 adapter, and one RX426 expansion unit can add four more bays for up to 192TB raw capacity.
Installation notes
The 44mm high chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and operates from 0°C to 35°C. Hot-swappable bays simplify drive replacement, but the single PCIe slot means only one add-in card can be used at a time.
