The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments and branch offices. A quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor running at 2.2 GHz drives the system with 16GB of DDR4 memory. Four hot-swappable bays come populated with 48TB of Synology Plus drives and 800GB of enterprise cache.

Sustained sequential throughput over 2000 MB/s read

Under Synology's tested configuration the unit delivers sequential read performance above 2000 MB/s and write performance above 1300 MB/s. Four integrated 1GbE ports support Link Aggregation for bandwidth scaling and automatic failover during continuous operation. A PCIe Gen3 slot allows the addition of 10GbE or 25GbE adapters for higher sustained throughput.

Redundant power supply in 0 to 35 °C range

Dual redundant power supplies operate from 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 35°C. The 1U form factor measures 44 mm high by 480 mm wide by 492.6 mm deep and weighs 8.0 kg. Status LEDs indicate power, drive activity and network link state.
