The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage appliance built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. It ships fully assembled and tested with a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor and 4GB of DDR4 memory installed.

64TB raw capacity with 1.6TB cache and expansion

Four 16TB Synology Plus drives provide 64TB of raw storage, while two 800GB enterprise SSDs deliver 1.6TB of read-write caching to accelerate HDD arrays. One RX426 expansion unit can be added to reach eight bays and 192TB raw capacity using supported 24TB drives.

Four 1GbE ports and a PCIe Gen3 slot for network

Four RJ-45 10/100/1000M ports support link aggregation, load balancing and automatic failover. A single PCIe Gen3 slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter, or a combined M.2 and 10GbE card for higher throughput.
