It ships fully assembled with 4 GB of DDR4 memory, a two-port 25 GbE SFP28 adapter and four 16 TB Synology Plus drives pre-installed for 64 TB of raw capacity. Four drive bays accept 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA media and the unit is intended for branch offices and remote deployments.

Sustained throughput with redundant networking

Under Synology's tested configuration the system delivers sequential read performance above 2,000 MB/s and write performance above 1,300 MB/s. Four onboard 1 GbE RJ-45 ports support link aggregation, load balancing and automatic failover so bandwidth remains available during prolonged transfers or a link failure. The PCIe Gen 3 slot is occupied by the included 25 GbE adapter, leaving no open slot for further expansion cards.
