Installation and Common Issues

Four hot-swappable bays accept 3.5 inch SATA hard drives and 2.5 inch SATA SSDs without tools. The unit mounts in a standard rack using the included accessory pack and connects via 100-240 VAC power. Builders who need more than four bays must add an RX426 expansion unit. The single PCIe Gen3 slot allows one add-in card only.

Capacity Headroom and Limits

The included drives provide 64 TB of raw storage out of the box. Attaching one RX426 expansion unit raises the bay count to eight and supports up to 192 TB raw with 24 TB drives. Four 1 GbE ports enable Link Aggregation for throughput scaling. The PCIe slot adds 10 GbE or 25 GbE connectivity when higher network speed is required.
