The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments, branch offices, and remote business workloads. It ships fully assembled and tested with an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 2-port 10GbE adapter, and four 4TB Synology Plus drives installed. Four 1GbE ports support Link Aggregation for bandwidth scaling and automatic failover.

16 TB Raw Capacity Expandable to 192 TB

The unit provides 16 TB of raw storage across four hot-swappable bays populated with 4TB drives. Compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs are supported. Capacity can grow to 192 TB by adding one RX426 expansion unit for eight total bays using supported 24 TB drives. A PCIe Gen3 slot allows M.2 SSD caching to boost IOPS on HDD arrays.

1U Form Factor with Redundant Power Ready

The 44 mm × 480 mm × 492.6 mm chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and operates from 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz within 0°C to 35°C. Redundant power supply support is built in for high-availability needs. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a PCIe Gen3 slot provide I/O flexibility for 10GbE, 25GbE, or M.2 adapters. Management is handled through a web-based interface with DHCP client support.
