The Synology RS826RP+ is a compact 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. It ships fully assembled with 8GB DDR4 RAM, 800GB enterprise cache and four 12TB Synology Plus drives providing 48TB raw capacity. A quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor at 2.2 GHz powers the unit.

Four 1GbE Ports and PCIe Expansion

Four integrated RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000M support Link Aggregation for bandwidth pooling, load balancing and automatic network failover. A single PCIe Gen3 slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter or a combined M.2 and 10GbE card. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provide additional connectivity for external devices.

Hot-Swap Bays and Redundant Power

Four hot-swappable bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for tool-less maintenance. An optional RX426 expansion unit can extend the system to eight bays and 192TB raw capacity with supported 24TB drives. Redundant power supplies operate on 100-240 VAC at 50/60Hz within 0°C to 35°C and 5-95% relative humidity.
