The drive delivers sequential read and write speeds up to 2000 MBps and includes both a Type-C to Type-C cable rated at 20Gbps and a Type-A to Type-C cable rated at 10Gbps.

Speed limits of the interface

The USB 3.2 Gen2x2 link tops out at 20Gbps, so the 2000 MBps ceiling is only reachable when the host port also supports Gen2x2. On a 10Gbps Type-A or Gen2 Type-C port the drive will throttle to roughly half that throughput. The operating range is 0°C to 35°C; sustained heavy transfers outside that window may trigger thermal throttling.
