AX100 Pedestal for AX700 Chassis

The AX100 is an add-on chamber built specifically for the AX700 Super Tower chassis. It mounts on the top, bottom or both to expand cooling, storage and power capacity for enthusiast builders.

Extra power, storage and cooling

A standard PS2 PSU up to 220mm long fits with clearance for two 120mm bottom fans. Two drive cages hold up to eight 3.5in or 2.5in drives and can be accessed from either side. Each side supports four 120mm or 140mm fans and a 560mm radiator.

Tool-free panel removal and dust filters

Push clips and latches let you remove panels without tools for quick reconfiguration. Dust filters on the front, left and right sides protect the interior. The pedestal is designed only for the AX700 series and does not fit other cases.

What stops me from adding more drives once the two cages are full?

The AX100 only has two drive cages that together hold eight 3.5" or 2.5" drives; no additional mounting points exist, so the eight-drive limit is the hard ceiling.

How loud and hot does the AX100 get when all eight fan slots and both 560 mm radiators are running continuously?

The AX100 ships with no fans installed, so noise and heat depend entirely on the fans and radiators you choose; the mesh side panel and dust-filtered intakes on the front, left and right sides are designed to move the air those components push through.
