Patch Cable for 40/100 Gb Ethernet

The N820-20M-OM4 is a duplex multimode fibre optic patch cable built for local area networks and storage area networks. It uses 50/125 micron OM4 glass fibre with dual LC male connectors. The aqua jacket identifies the OM4 rating and the cable is halogen-free for safer use in enclosed spaces.

LSZH Jacket Limits Smoke in Sustained Heat

A low-smoke zero-halogen jacket reduces toxic emissions if the cable is exposed to fire during long-term operation in poorly ventilated areas. The cable meets insertion loss standards for reliable signal transmission over its full 65.62 ft length. It supports 40/100 Gb Ethernet applications up to 300 meters at 850 nm wavelength.

Replaces 62.5 µm Multimode for Higher Bandwidth

This OM4 cable provides three times the bandwidth of conventional 62.5 µm multimode fibre while remaining backward compatible with existing 50/125 installations.
