The Tripp Lite SMART1200PSGLCD delivers 1200VA and 720W of pure sine wave output to protect gaming rigs from blackouts, brownouts and surges. Automatic voltage regulation maintains a steady 120V nominal output during low- and high-voltage conditions without draining the battery. Ten NEMA 5-15R outlets provide connections for a PC, monitors and peripherals. Programmable RGB LED banks offer more than 16 million color combinations.

Sustained load behavior

The unit supplies battery run time between 1 and 30 minutes depending on the connected load, giving enough margin to save games and shut down safely. After a discharge, the valve-regulated lead-acid battery recharges from 10% to 90% in 7 hours. An audible alarm sounds every 10 seconds in battery mode at full charge and every second when the charge runs low. A replace-battery alarm sounds every 2 seconds and a fault alarm sounds continuously.

Thermals, noise and power

The tower chassis measures 11.024 x 4.134 x 16.929 inches and weighs 25.6 pounds, fitting on or under a desk. Input connects via a NEMA 5-15P plug to a 120V AC source at 50 or 60 Hz. Surge suppression is rated at 316 joules. A USB HID interface enables local monitoring through PowerAlert Local software.
