airCube ISP 802.11n router

The Ubiquiti airCube ISP is a compact wireless access point that delivers up to 300 Mbps over 802.11n 2x2 MIMO on the 2.4 GHz band. It includes four 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports and a 4 dBi Super Antenna for extended coverage. The unit is managed through the UNMS platform or the UNMS mobile app for simple setup and remote monitoring. It operates in temperatures from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Installers using airMAX CPEs

This router suits providers deploying airMAX customer-premises equipment because it accepts 24 V passive PoE on LAN port 1 and passes the same voltage out to power a connected CPE. It also runs from a 5 V micro USB source when PoE is not available. Buyers who need gigabit Ethernet ports or 5 GHz operation should look at other models. The power adapter is not included in the box.

24 V passive PoE passthrough

The defining specification is the 24 V passive PoE input on LAN port 1 with passthrough to a downstream airMAX CPE. Maximum power draw is 5 W and the supported input range is 4.95 to 5.05 V via micro USB. A compatible 24 V PoE injector or a 5 V 2 A USB supply must be sourced separately. Without the correct power source the unit will not start.
