5MP ultra-wide dome camera

The Uniview IPC815SB-ADF14K-I0 is a 5-megapixel network dome camera with a fixed 1.4 mm focal-length lens. It uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor and supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression. Power over Ethernet and 12 V DC input are both available. The housing meets IK10 vandal resistance and IP66 weather protection.

Bandwidth and storage limits

Ultra 265 compression reduces bit-rate compared with H.265 and H.264, but the 5 MP stream at 30 fps still demands significant network capacity and recorder throughput. ONVIF support allows integration with compatible NVRs, yet the maximum 256 GB micro SD card caps onboard recording time. Dual built-in microphones and 120 dB true WDR add audio and dynamic-range data to the stream.

1.4 mm fixed focal length

The 1.4 mm lens delivers an ultra-wide field of view that suits close-quarters monitoring such as corridors, lobbies or small retail spaces. It cannot be adjusted optically, so installers must position the dome precisely during mounting. Buyers needing variable zoom or narrower coverage for distant subjects should select a different lens option.
