This 128 GB kit delivers eight 16 GB DDR5 registered DIMMs built for AMD Threadripper PRO 7000 series workstations. The modules run at 6800 MT/s with CL36 timings at 1.40 V and include on-die ECC for data integrity in professional workloads.

AMD EXPO Profile Constraints

The EXPO profile sets 6800 MT/s at CL34, yet the SPD table lists CL36-46-46-92 at 1.40 V. Systems that only read JEDEC defaults will drop to lower speeds unless the firmware applies the EXPO overclock. Memory controllers that cannot sustain 1.40 V will also limit the achievable frequency.

Registered DIMM Installation Notes

Each stick carries a 10-layer PCB, micro-heatsinks on the RCD and PMIC, and a standard heat spreader. The registered buffer adds one cycle of latency, so the platform must support RDIMM topology. Mixing these modules with unbuffered DIMMs or populating slots the WRX90 manual forbids will prevent the system from posting.
