The Intel 82599ES controller handles traffic and supports Single Root I/O virtualisation for multi-tenant environments. Sustained throughput on dual ports

Each SFP+ cage accepts 10 Gb transceivers, direct-attach cables or active optical cables at the full 5.0 GT/s lane rate.
