Pilum Desktop for 1440p Gaming

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players who want strong 1440p performance without assembling parts themselves. An eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X and an RTX 3070 with 8 GB of GDDR6 deliver high frame rates in modern titles. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 give ample headroom for streaming or background tasks. Windows 10 Pro is installed and ready to use.

512 GB SSD plus 2 TB HDD

The boot drive is a 512 GB SATA SSD that holds the operating system and a handful of frequently played games. A 2 TB mechanical drive adds bulk storage for media, backups and larger libraries. Installing many current AAA titles will fill the SSD quickly, so expect to move less-used games to the hard drive or add another solid-state drive later.

750 W supply with liquid CPU cooler

A 750 watt power unit feeds the graphics card and leaves room for moderate upgrades. An RGB-lit 120 mm all-in-one liquid cooler keeps the processor temperature in check under load. Wireless networking uses 802.11n only, so crowded environments may see slower speeds than newer standards. The chassis provides USB 3.1 Gen 1, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 for peripherals.
