Product Identity

The Vszerda EP-002 adapter converts a motherboard M.2 Key-M slot into an A+E or E-Key interface for NGFF PCIe network modules such as the AX200. It fits 2260 and 2280 Key-M connectors and draws power through the slot without extra cables. The card only changes the physical interface and does not alter module performance.

Compatibility Guidance

Suits desktop builders adding a PCIe-based NGFF Wi-Fi card to a Key-M slot. Not for users with CNVI protocol A/E-Key cards, nor for laptops or non-Key-M motherboards. Some NGFF network cards do not work on AMD platforms. Buyers needing NVME storage support or CNVI compatibility should choose a different adapter.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the Key-M slot requirement: the host must provide a 2260 or 2280 M.2 PCIe Key-M connector. Without that exact slot the adapter cannot be installed and the network module will not function.

商品問答

Which M.2 module sizes does the EP-002 adapter accept?

The adapter supports only 2260 and 2280 type Key M connectors.

Does the adapter change the speed or performance of the installed network card?

The riser card only changes the interface form of the module and does not change any performance of the module.

What interface standard is used and what does it limit in practice?

The adapter uses an NVME Key M slot and requires a USB header connection; it does not support CNVI protocol network cards and some M.2 NGFF network cards do not support AMD motherboards.
