Vszerda USB 3.0 to SATA IDE Adapter with USB-C Cable and 12V Power Supply

SKU CH-S9JV-5GDNB

Connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE drives and optical drives via USB 3.0 or USB-C with a 12V power supply

  • Connect 2.5 and 3.5 SATA or IDE drives with one adapter
  • Transfer files at up to 5 Gbps using USB 3.0 and UASP
  • Power 3.5 inch drives reliably with the included 12 V supply
  • Works on Windows, Mac and Linux without installing drivers
  • Includes USB-A and USB-C cable plus Molex-to-SATA power converter

Universal Drive Adapter

The Vszerda USB 3.0 to SATA IDE Adapter connects 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA and IDE hard drives, SSDs and optical drives to a computer through USB-A or USB-C ports. It is built for technicians and home users who need to recover data from legacy drives or migrate files during a system upgrade. No drivers are required for Windows, Mac OS or Linux.

Simultaneous Drive Limit

The adapter provides one SATA III connector and two IDE connectors for 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives, but it can operate only one SATA and one IDE drive at the same time. Two IDE drives cannot be powered simultaneously, so the kit suits single-drive access or mixed SATA and IDE pairs.

Capacity and Speed Headroom

Drives up to 6 TB are supported and the USB 3.0 interface with UASP reaches a theoretical 5 Gbps, falling back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 when needed. Actual throughput depends on the connected drive, and the included 12 V power supply is required for 3.5 inch mechanical units.

商品問答

What does the 5 Gbps headline speed mean when I connect a hard drive?

The 5 Gbps figure is the USB 3.0 interface ceiling; real-world throughput depends on the drive itself and the host port, and will be lower on USB 2.0 or 1.1 connections.

Which USB standard does the adapter use and what does it limit?

It uses USB 3.0 with UASP support, capping the link at 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports.

What drive sizes and power connections do I need to fit a 3.5-inch IDE drive?

The kit includes a 3.5-inch IDE connector, a 4-pin Molex-to-SATA power converter and a 12 V power adapter to supply the drive.
