Single-port Gigabit PCIe 2.1 card
The 10Gtek I210T1 adds one 1 Gbps RJ45 link through a PCI Express 2.1 x1 slot. It uses an Intel I210 controller with intelligent offloads to keep servers stable under load. The board fits standard and low-profile brackets so it works in compact chassis. Drivers cover Windows from XP to Server 2019, plus Linux, FreeBSD and VMware ESXi.
Replaces single-port Intel 10/100/1000 adapters
It substitutes cards such as the EXPI9301CTBLK, E1G42ET or Intel I210-T1 that occupy the same x1 lane. The jump is worth it when a legacy 10/100 NIC limits throughput or when a failed onboard port needs a drop-in replacement with current OS support. Wake-on-LAN and jumbo frames up to 9.5 KB are included.
Handles 100 m copper runs at line rate
The single RJ45 port drives Category-5 or better cable to the full 100 m distance at 1 Gbps. PCIe 2.1 x1 supplies 2.5 GT/s bandwidth, leaving no headroom bottleneck for Gigabit traffic. It does not support hot-swap, multi-port aggregation or 10 Gbps speeds, so builders needing extra ports or higher throughput should look elsewhere.
