Compact 5 V brushless fan

This 30 mm by 30 mm by 8 mm brushless DC fan runs from a 5 V supply and draws 0.2 A. It is built for prototyping and small-form-factor cooling where space is at a premium. The included Molex PicoBlade 1.25 mm pitch connector plugs straight onto compatible headers, and the hard-ware kit supplies four M2.5 screws 16 mm long with hex nuts.

Makers who need plug-and-play airflow

Hobbyists and engineers adding active cooling to Raspberry Pi, FPGA or motor-driver boards will appreciate the ready-made cable and mounting hardware. Builders who require variable-speed control or a PWM signal should look elsewhere, as this unit operates at a fixed speed. Molex PicoBlade 1.25 mm connector

The 2-pin PicoBlade header is the single interface that determines whether the fan fits your board without soldering. If your controller or breakout carries the matching 1.25 mm pitch receptacle, the fan connects in seconds; otherwise you must cut the connector and solder or clamp the bare wires.
