G.SKILL
A 16 GB dual-channel DDR4 kit running at 2400 MT/s with CL15 latency and a red aluminum heatspreader
This G.SKILL Ripjaws V kit provides 16GB of DDR4 memory in a matched 2x8GB configuration. It targets desktop builders who want reliable dual-channel performance on supported Intel platforms. The modules run at DDR4 2400 with a CAS latency of 15 and timings of 15-15-15-35.
Each stick carries a red aluminium heatspreader that helps manage thermals during sustained loads. The standard 288-pin DDR4 form factor fits mainstream desktop motherboards without special clearance requirements. Intel XMP 2.0 allows the rated speed and timings to be applied through a single BIOS selection.
The PC4 19200 rating sets a hard limit on maximum theoretical throughput regardless of tighter timings or higher voltages. Operating at 1.20V keeps power draw modest but also caps headroom for manual overclocking beyond the XMP profile. Mixing this kit with other modules is not supported and can prevent the system from booting at the rated specification.

The kit runs at 2400 MT/s with a PC4-19200 peak transfer rate, so dual-channel throughput is capped at the JEDEC DDR4-2400 limit unless the motherboard enables a higher XMP profile.
Each stick is a standard 288-pin DIMM with a low-profile Ripjaws V heatspreader; most tower coolers leave enough clearance, but measure from the motherboard to the cooler base before ordering.
Enter the BIOS, turn on Intel XMP 2.0 for the kit, save and reboot; the common mistake is leaving XMP off so the modules fall back to slower JEDEC defaults.
