The HighPoint SSD7202 is a PCIe 3.0 x16 RAID controller that adds two dedicated M.2 NVMe ports to low-profile servers or workstations. It supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 for bootable or data volumes across off-the-shelf MLC, TLC or QLC SSDs.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Each M.2 port receives a dedicated PCIe 3.0 x4 link while the card uses a PCIe 3.0 x8 bus to the host. This architecture avoids internal bottlenecks when both drives operate at full speed for extended periods.
