The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits two Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 processors and 32 GB of DDR4 memory into a single rack unit. It is built for environments that need high core density without sacrificing expansion headroom. Virtualisation hosts and database nodes benefit from the 16 physical cores and 32 threads available out of the box.

Redundant cooling and power

Seven hot-swap fans and dual 500 W redundant power supplies keep the chassis running during a single component failure. The 1U form factor concentrates airflow across the CPU and memory zones while the power supplies share load evenly. Acoustic output scales with thermal demand but remains within typical rack-room expectations for this class.

H240ar controller and drive trays

The Smart HBA H240ar presents 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA paths with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. Two 1 TB 7.2K SAS drives ship installed in the 2.5 inch bays with trays included. The remaining six bays accept additional SFF drives or a universal media bay when more capacity is required.
