Tower server for small offices

The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a tower server built for small businesses and remote offices. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 4-core processor running at 2.8GHz with turbo up to 4.5GHz. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory in two 16GB modules and 32TB of storage across four 8TB SATA 3.5-inch drives. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before use.

Upgrade from entry systems

This server replaces basic workstations or older towers when ECC memory, hardware RAID and dedicated remote management become necessary. The Smart Array VROC controller handles the four included drives, while the iLO dedicated NIC port provides out-of-band access. The jump is worth it when uptime, data redundancy and lights-out administration outweigh the simplicity of a standard desktop platform.

Steady load with single supply

Under sustained workloads the single cabled power supply delivers continuous power to the processor, memory and all four spinning drives. The embedded Broadcom BCM5720 dual-port 1Gb Ethernet adapter maintains network connectivity without adding expansion cards. Four PCIe slots and an M.2 slot remain available for additional controllers or storage if the workload grows beyond the base configuration.
