This internal solid-state drive uses the M.2 2280 form factor and a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with NVMe 1.4 protocol. It is built for consumers who need fast storage for gaming, content creation or everyday computing. The drive offers 2TB of capacity using 3D NAND flash memory.

Controller-based thermal control

KingSpec's own controller manages NAND thermals so the drive can accept an aftermarket heatsink. That compatibility makes it suitable for PlayStation 5 expansion slots as well as desktop and laptop M.2 sockets. Idle power draw is 1.36 W and active consumption reaches 6.75 W.
