The Kioxia CM7-R is a 1.92 TB internal solid-state drive built for read-intensive enterprise workloads such as business intelligence, online transaction processing and software-defined storage. It uses a proprietary controller and 112-layer BiCS FLASH 3D TLC to deliver up to 2,700K random read IOPS and 310K random write IOPS with 1 DWPD endurance.
Dual-Port U.3 Installation
The drive conforms to the SFF-TA-1001 U.3 specification and fits a 2.5-inch, 15 mm bay. Its dual-port design supports high-availability configurations, but both ports must be connected to compatible backplanes and the system firmware must recognise the dual-port topology before the drive will operate correctly.
