This 96GB kit is built for the Dell Precision 7920 rack or tower workstation. It contains twelve 8GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered DIMMs that install directly into the system's memory slots. The modules are designed for professionals who need reliable, error-correcting memory in a supported configuration. No heat spreaders are included on the sticks.

96GB capacity and DDR4 2933 speed

The kit delivers 96GB total capacity across twelve single-rank 1Rx8 modules running at 2933MT/s (PC4-23400) with CL21 latency at 1.20V. This headroom handles large datasets, virtual machines and multi-application workloads typical of workstation use. Capacity is fixed at 96GB; the kit does not support mixing with other speeds or non-ECC memory. Systems requiring more than 96GB or different speeds will need a separate upgrade path.

Registered ECC modules with OEM chips

Each DIMM uses major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix components and presents a 288-pin registered interface to the motherboard. The registered design reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing the full twelve-module population. ECC corrects single-bit errors to protect data integrity during long compute jobs. The kit includes only the twelve memory modules; no additional cables, brackets or software are supplied.
