The WL-WN583AX3 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 wireless range extender that also works as an access point or router. It covers indoor areas up to 100m and outdoor areas up to 300m, supporting up to 256 connected devices for homes or small offices.

160MHz bandwidth on 5GHz

The single specification that decides fit is the 160MHz channel width on the 5.0GHz band, which enables the 2402Mbps link rate. Without a main router that also supports 160MHz, the extender will fall back to narrower channels and lower throughput.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous traffic the four 5dBi antennas and four FEM chips maintain signal strength across the 2000sq.ft. coverage area. BSS Coloring reduces interference from neighbouring networks, while OFDMA and MU-MIMO keep multiple streams stable during prolonged streaming, gaming or large file transfers.
