Dual-socket 1U server for dense compute

The Dell PowerEdge R430 fits two Xeon E5-2630 v3 processors into a single rack unit, delivering 16 physical cores and 32 threads at 2.4 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory are installed across the 12 available DIMM slots, leaving room to scale toward the 384 GB maximum. Three 1.2 TB SAS drives connect through the H330 controller, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. A redundant 550 W power supply and four 1 GbE ports complete the baseline configuration.
