The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory across 24 DIMM slots and includes a PERC H330 RAID controller. It is built for organisations that need dense compute in a single rack unit.

Sustained load behaviour

Dual 750 W hot-swap power supplies feed the platform redundantly, so a single supply failure does not interrupt operation. The 10-bay 2.5-inch chassis supports SAS or SATA drives that the H330 controller can arrange in RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 or 60. PCIe 3.0 slots and a dedicated PERC slot allow additional I/O cards without reducing drive count. iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller provides out-of-band monitoring during continuous operation.

Interface practical limits

The H330 controller operates at 12 Gbps SAS speed, which caps the throughput of any attached SAS or SATA device. Memory runs at up to 2400 MT/s DDR4, limited by the processor memory controller rather than the DIMM rating. Network connectivity defaults to four 1 GbE ports on the daughter card, with optional 10 GbE configurations available. The Matrox G200 video output is intended for management console use only.
