Dual six-core Xeon E5-2609 v3 processors at 1.9 GHz and 64 GB of DDR4 across 24 DIMM slots give enough threads for file services, backup targets or secondary databases.

Storage controller and media

A Perc H330 12 Gbps RAID controller manages the three factory-installed 900 GB 10 K SAS drives and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60 across the full bay count. The controller and bay count let you scale from a small mirrored set to a 52 TB raw array without adding external enclosures, while the DVD-ROM handles occasional media installs.

Redundant power and remote management
