The Silverstone SST-KR01 stands 54 mm tall and fits AMD Socket AM4, AM3, AM2, FM2 and FM1 platforms. Two 6 mm copper heat-pipes and aluminium fins move heat into a horizontal 80 mm PWM fan. It targets compact systems that need a capable air cooler within a slim chassis.

95 W TDP ceiling without extra case airflow

The cooler is rated for CPUs up to 95 W when the case supplies efficient airflow; above that figure additional ventilation is required. The 800 to 3,000 RPM PWM fan delivers up to 34.33 CFM at a maximum of 33 dBA, so thermal headroom depends on how well the enclosure exhausts the warm air.

Horizontal fan mount needs RAM and VRM clearance

The fan sits horizontally over the heatsink, so tall memory modules or bulky VRM heatsinks can block installation. Dual ball bearings give the fan a long service life, but the 80 x 80 x 15 mm frame leaves little room for error. Builders should verify motherboard layout before fitting the unit.
