Ultra-compact 30 mm case fan

The SXDOOL PLA03010S12M is a 30 mm square frame fan built for tight spaces such as chipset heatsinks, small-form-factor enclosures or industrial equipment. It runs on 12 V through a standard three-pin motherboard header and draws only 0.07 A, making it a low-power addition for targeted spot cooling.

Three-pin speed-sense limitation

The three-pin connector supplies power, ground and a tachometer signal but lacks PWM control, so the motherboard can monitor RPM but cannot dynamically adjust speed. Voltage-based regulation is possible if the header supports it, yet the fan will typically run at its fixed 6300 RPM ±5 % range unless the board reduces the supply voltage.

3.5 CFM airflow for chipset-scale loads

At 3.5 CFM and 14 dBA the fan moves enough air to lower temperatures on a northbridge, VRM heatsink or SSD controller, but it cannot serve as primary case ventilation or cool a CPU tower. The 6000–6499 RPM range provides measurable airflow in a 3010 form factor while keeping acoustic output below 15 dBA.
