Analog Technologies
Delivers 0 to 9 kV at up to 1 mA from a 12 V DC input with 0–5 V control and electronic shutdown
The Analog Technologies AHV12V9KV1MAW converts a 12 V rail into an adjustable 0 to 9 kV output with a maximum current of 1 mA. It is built for engineers and OEMs who need a regulated high-voltage source in research, inspection or coating equipment.
The unit draws between 225 mA and 1.1 A from the 12 V input depending on load. With no fan or heatsink specified, heat dissipation relies on conduction to the mounting surface, so mechanical integration must provide an adequate thermal path.
The module replaces older discrete high-voltage bricks in X-ray, spectroscopy, semiconductor and electrospinning systems where space is limited. It is not suited for applications that require more than 1 mA output current or an input voltage outside the 12 V ± 1 V window.
| Type | High Voltage Power Supply |
|---|
Feed 12 V ± 1 V to the input pins; the unit draws 225 mA to 1.1 A depending on load. Apply 0–5 V to the CTRL pin to set output from 0 to 9 kV. The on-board 5 V ± 0.05 V reference can drive the control directly.
No user-serviceable parts inside; the sealed potted module is rated for continuous operation. If output drifts beyond spec or the electronic shutdown trips repeatedly, replace the entire unit.
The 1 mA current ceiling is reached before the 9 kV voltage ceiling, so extended runs at full voltage are constrained by the maximum output current.
