The APC Smart-UPS SRT3000RMXLA is a double-conversion on-line unit rated at 3000 VA and 2700 W. It delivers pure sine-wave output at 120 V to protect servers, network gear and storage arrays from every mains disturbance. The 2U rackmount form factor fits standard cabinets and ships with a rail kit for quick installation.
The UPS auto-senses an input frequency range of 40 to 70 Hz and connects via a NEMA L5-30P plug. Output is limited to ten battery-backed receptacles: one NEMA L5-30R, one NEMA L5-20R and eight NEMA 5-20R. No surge-only or switched outlets are provided, so every connected device shares the same runtime pool.
At the full 2700 W rating the battery lasts approximately 3.2 minutes. Reducing the load to roughly 1350 W extends runtime to about 10.3 minutes. Recharge takes three hours. The sealed lead-acid pack is rated for a two-year service life, and the 340 J surge rating covers only modest transients.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Choose the 3000 VA / 2700 W model if your connected load approaches 2700 watts; a smaller unit would not support that load.
It is the maximum real power the UPS can deliver continuously; at that load the battery lasts about 3.2 minutes, while at half load (1350 W) runtime extends to roughly 10.3 minutes.
The L5-30P plug limits input to a 30 A, 120 V circuit, and the ten outlets (eight 5-20R, one L5-20R, one L5-30R) share the single 2700 W output capacity.
