ESTONE
Connects 2.5" and 3.5" SATA or IDE drives to USB 3.0 for simultaneous access and data transfer up to 5 Gbps
The ESTONE E01 connects 2.5" and 3.5" SATA or IDE hard drives and solid-state drives to a computer through a USB 3.0 port. It accepts one SATA device and two IDE devices using 40-pin and 44-pin connectors. The kit includes a 12V 2A power adapter for desktop drives. It is aimed at users who need to recover, duplicate or archive data from legacy and current drives.
The adapter operates at up to 5 Gbps over USB 3.0 and falls back to USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 when connected to older ports. Drive capacity is supported up to 6 TB. The SATA connector is specified as SATA II. Optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD-RW are also supported. Actual throughput will depend on the drive and the host controller.
The black enclosure houses the conversion circuitry and provides LED status indication. Plug-and-play operation works with Windows XP through Windows 10, Mac OS 9 and 10, and Linux without driver installation. The included power brick supplies 12V at 2A for 3.5" mechanisms. Three drives can be accessed simultaneously for direct file transfer between them.

The kit connects 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs, plus 2.5" and 3.5" IDE hard drives using the included 40-pin and 44-pin connectors. It also supports optical drives such as DVD-ROM and CD-RW.
The 5 Gbps figure is the USB 3.0 interface ceiling; real-world throughput depends on the connected drive's own read and write limits, so a SATA SSD will hit higher sustained rates than a mechanical IDE drive.
The adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 ports, but transfer speed will be capped at the older port's maximum instead of the 5 Gbps USB 3.0 ceiling.
