HP
1U rack server with dual Xeon E5-2620v3 2.4GHz CPUs, 64GB DDR4, two 146GB 15K SAS drives and H240ar RAID controller
The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rackmount server built for dense compute environments. Dual Intel Xeon E5-2620v3 processors provide 12 physical cores and 24 threads at 2.4 GHz. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory fill half the 24 DIMM slots. Two 146 GB 15 K SAS drives and redundant 500 W power supplies complete the baseline configuration.
The onboard Smart HBA H240ar handles 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Eight 2.5-inch SFF drive bays are available, with two currently populated by the 146 GB drives. This controller decides whether the storage topology matches your workload requirements for redundancy or capacity.
Dual hot-swap 500 W power supplies provide N+1 redundancy for continuous operation. The 1U chassis uses managed airflow across the processors, memory and drive bays to maintain thermal limits under load. Acoustic output scales with fan speed, which is governed by inlet temperature and component utilisation. No discrete GPU is installed; the Matrox G200 provides basic management video only.
