The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rackmount server built for space-constrained environments. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 six-core processor at 2.4GHz and 48GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. Dual 500W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy. The B140i controller manages two included 500GB 7.2K SATA drives in RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10.
This configuration fits buyers who need a compact virtualisation host or application server with redundant power and room to grow memory across 24 DIMM slots. It will not suit buyers who require a hardware RAID controller with cache, GPU acceleration, SAS drive connectivity, or an operating system included. The eight SFF bays accept only SATA media through the onboard controller.
The B140i controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 exclusively for SATA devices. It does not support SAS drives or hardware acceleration. If your deployment requires SAS connectivity or a dedicated RAID card with battery-backed cache, this server cannot meet that requirement without an additional controller.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
During POST the B140i option ROM lists the detected drives and their RAID state; the iLO 4 web interface then shows logical-drive health and drive status under the Storage tab.
The box contains the 1U chassis, one E5-2620 v3 processor, 48 GB DDR4 ECC memory, two 500 GB 7.2 K SATA drives in trays, two 500 W redundant power supplies, the Matrox G200 graphics chip and the B140i software RAID controller; an operating system and any additional drives or a second processor are not included.
The server has 24 DIMM slots and the installed 48 GB already represents the maximum capacity listed for this configuration; to expand further you would need a second processor and higher-capacity DDR4 ECC registered modules.
