MAIWO
Two-bay M.2 NVMe enclosure with USB 3.2 Gen2x2 20Gbps and RAID 0, 1, PM, Large modes
Model NVME RAID
This two-bay enclosure lets you connect a pair of M.2 NVMe SSDs through a single USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port. It supports drive lengths of 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 and can hold up to 8TB of combined storage. The aluminium and steel body doubles as a heatsink and ships with both silicone and aluminium thermal pads.
Four hardware RAID options let you choose between striped speed, mirrored safety, port-multiplier access or a single large volume spanning both drives. The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 link provides a theoretical 20Gbps bandwidth while each SSD can reach 10Gbps, so the upgrade is worthwhile when your workflow saturates a single-drive 10Gbps connection.
Drives slide into the bays without screws and the unit draws power from the included 5V 3A adapter, so no host-port negotiation is required. The most common issues are forgetting to initialise the RAID array in the OS disk utility and using a host port that cannot deliver the full 20Gbps signal. Sleep mode activates automatically after inactivity.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The enclosure accepts M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors.
Use the hardware switch to select RAID 0, 1, PM or Large before powering on; the common mistake is changing the mode after drives already contain data, which destroys the array.
The included silicone and aluminium thermal pads may degrade and should be replaced if SSD temperatures rise; the 5V 3A power supply can also be swapped if it fails.
