Converts 100-240V AC to 12V DC at up to 20A with selectable 110V or 220V input and multiple safety protections
This regulated switching power supply converts 100-240V AC mains to a stable 12V DC output rated at 20 amps. It targets industrial automation, LED lighting, CCTV, radio equipment, 3D printers and similar DC projects. The enclosed metal chassis includes a built-in fan for thermal management. A manual 110V/220V input selector must be set correctly before powering the unit.
The 240W continuous rating replaces smaller 12V bricks that cannot sustain heavy LED strips or motor loads. The jump is worthwhile when the connected load approaches or exceeds the previous adapter's current limit, triggering shutdown or voltage sag. Integrated short-circuit, overload, over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and leakage protections reduce the risk of damage to both the supply and the attached device.
At the rated 20A output the unit delivers 240W, sufficient for medium LED installations, single-extruder 3D printers or multiple CCTV cameras. The supplier specification also lists a 33A and 400W figure, but the nameplate rating remains 20A and 240W; sustained operation above that level is not supported. Operating temperature range is -20 to 60 degrees Celsius, and screw terminals accept solid or stranded wire for secure connections.

The unit provides standard screw terminals for both the AC input and the 12V DC output; strip each wire, insert it into the terminal block, and tighten the screws securely.
Set the 110V/220V selector switch to match your local mains voltage — 110V for North America, 220V for most other regions — before connecting the AC cord.
Blow dust out of the fan and ventilation slots every few months, or more often in dusty environments, to maintain airflow and prevent thermal shutdown.
