Compact 20-pin DC-ATX module delivers 90 W from a 12 V adapter, fanless for silent operation in Mini-ITX and 1U cases
This 20-pin DC-ATX module delivers up to 90W of power from a single 12V input. It targets builders assembling fanless Mini-ITX systems, embedded PCs or 1U appliances where space and silence are primary constraints. An external 12V adapter rated for at least 7.5A is required for operation.
Without a fan the unit runs at 100% mute, relying on industrial solid capacitors rated for high heat endurance. Efficiency meets or exceeds 90% across the load range, with ripple held to 50mV on the 3.3V and 5V rails and 120mV on the 12V and -12V rails. Operating temperature spans 15 to 35°C at 45-75% humidity.
The package includes the DC-ATX module with its output cable, removing the need to source a separate loom. A 2.5mm inner, 5.5mm outer diameter DC jack accepts the mandatory external adapter. No software, mounting brackets or additional connectors are supplied.

Plug the 20-pin cable into the motherboard ATX socket and the 5.5 mm outer-diameter jack into a 12 V adapter; the step often missed is confirming the adapter can supply at least 7.5 A at 11.4-12.6 V.
The industrial solid capacitors are rated for harsh environments, but the external 12 V adapter has its own electrolytic caps and will likely need replacement before the pico module.
The 12 V rail allows up to 4.0 A maximum load; at that current ripple reaches 120 mV, which is the tightest spec on the module.
