AT power supply delivering 420 W max and 280 W total with reduced depth for tight cases
This 420 W AT power supply replaces Hipro HP-A2027F3 and HP-D2537F3R units in HP, Dell and Compaq desktops. Its reduced depth of 5.86" x 3.3" fits standard ATX slots without extending as far as traditional PSUs. The unit delivers 280 W total continuous power across +5 V, -5 V, +12 V1, +12 V2, +3.3 V, -12 V and +5 V-SB rails.
An 80 mm fan provides active cooling for stable, long-life operation while maintaining low ripple and noise. The PSU accepts 110/220 V AC input at 47–63 Hz and meets Hi-Pot, RoHS and CE standards. Hold-up time is 17 ms at nominal input with a rise time under 70 ms.
Built-in cables terminate in a 24-pin (20+4) ATX connector, one 4-pin CPU connector, three SATA 15-pin connectors, two Molex 4-pin connectors and one floppy 4-pin connector. This fixed harness covers motherboard, CPU, SATA drives, legacy IDE peripherals and floppy devices without modular cables.

Mount the unit in the ATX opening using the four case screws; the shorter 5.86" depth means the rear face sits further forward, so verify the IEC socket clears the case cut-out before tightening.
The 80 mm cooling fan is the primary wear item; expect bearing noise or reduced airflow after several years of continuous operation.
The 280 W combined output cap is reached before the 420 W peak figure, so continuous draws above 280 W will trigger protection shutdown.
