This 1 TB kit contains eight 128 GB DDR5 RDIMM modules built for the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 rack server. It targets administrators who need maximum registered ECC capacity in a single qualified package.

Registered ECC modules for dense server

Each stick is a 288-pin DDR5 4800 RDIMM with 4Rx4 organisation and on-die ECC, so the memory controller handles error correction without extra buffer chips. The registered interface reduces electrical load on the server memory bus, allowing all eight slots to be populated at the rated 1.10 V.

1 TB total capacity with CL40 latency

The kit delivers 1 TB of addressable memory for large virtualisation clusters, in-memory databases or HPC workloads that scale across many cores. At CL40 the modules run at the standard JEDEC DDR5 4800 rate; workloads requiring higher bandwidth or lower latency would need faster-rated DIMMs.
