64 GB DDR5 RDIMM for Thinkmate RAX-XS4-21S4

This 64 GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMM is built for the Thinkmate RAX-XS4-21S4 rackmount server. It carries ECC and a 2Rx4 organisation to protect data integrity in mission-critical workloads. The module runs at 1.1 V and uses a standard 288-pin DDR5 form factor. IT teams choose it when they need validated, single-module capacity expansion.

Capacity and headroom: 64 GB single module

A single 64 GB stick fills one slot and leaves remaining DIMM sockets open for future growth. The 2Rx4 layout delivers high density without increasing rank count beyond what the platform expects. Workloads such as virtualisation, large databases and in-memory analytics benefit from the extra headroom. Systems already at the maximum supported rank per channel cannot accept additional modules of this type.

DDR5 4800 interface limits

The DDR5 4800 (PC5-38400) interface sets the peak transfer rate and the CL40 latency ceiling for this module. Registered signalling and on-die ECC add command overhead that the memory controller must absorb. Platforms limited to lower DDR5 speeds will downclock the module automatically. Boards that require unbuffered or non-ECC DIMMs cannot use this registered ECC part.
